Another version of a “New Moon” book cover has been released, and this one (a slight variation of the teaser poster) is certainly better than the last NM movie-tie in cover we posted, but still pretty lame, if you ask me. This one is up for pre-order now on Amazon.com. You can see the cover below in the gallery.
Also added a new outtake from Rob’s Globe and Mail photoshoot last year.
I definitely like this other cover way better! It shows how Edward is in pain :( Bella is relying on Jacob for support because she misses Edward :( And Jacob taking Bella’s dependence the wrong way! This cover works well. Edward/Robert looks SO sweet here…so thoughtful.
Well i like it better than the movie poster because you can see bellas sadness and also Edwards like pain so it’s better than the movie poster and as for the other cover well they are both kind of team Jacob but o well new moon has more jacob than any other book so I think I prefer this one just because Bella is not all over jacob a the other one maybe this pose of Bella and Jacob and the moon with edwards face will be better lol kins of like a combination of both covers
this actual made me wanna cry edward looks soo sad but i much rather this one because bella and edward both show pain and jacob just seems like the protective annoting dad in the way
i liked the other cover and i like this one too….It’s just that Edward looks like he’s going to start crying any minute now and it’s wierd….Also Jacob is the same as in the first poster wich is….whatever. :|
I like this one better than the Jacob one. It sort of captures the mood of the book. Edward leaves Bella and is depressed, Jacob is there and tries to protect Bella and later, tries to come between them, so it captures the book.
Plus, I have to say the pictures and outtakes from the Globe and Mail shoot were some of the nicest I’ve seen. They capture a side of Rob rarely seen.
wow. not only does this one show the story line better but they all look so much more of their character in this one. but i agree it looks like edwards about to cry…its making me about to cry. lol. the one thing i liked about the other one is tht it shows more of how bella feels like edwards always there (with the voices and seeing him) watching her. it also shows more of bellas internal conflict. she still and always will love edward but shes starting to get emotionally atatched to jacob. one of my favorite lines – forbidden to remember terrified to forget.

rob’s picture is freagin hot as usual. The book cover sucks. Rob looks like he’s worried about s cut on his thumb or something, nothing serious. Taylor looks like a bull and bella, well, she’s ok. Mostly the photoshop shading is to blame because i know these aren’t their real features, I’ve seen them from every possible angle like the resto of you, LOL!
