The Fanlistings
» Janine is the mastermind behind the whole brilliant idea. It is true to its namesake. A fanlisting is merely a listing of fans of a certain subject matter. She made a site that gathered fans of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and it just snowballed from there. Now there are fanlistings for almost anything you can think of. In this case, the listing is for fans of a particular setting/location in a series of books.
The Meadow
» The meadow is a special spot in the middle of the woods that Edward Cullen often goes to relax and bask in the sun, away from prying eyes. In "Twilight", he shows it to Bella Swan, and it is where they confess their feelings for each other for the first time. After Edward leaves Bella in "New Moon", she tried very hard to locate the meadow (never having traveled there by herself), hoping to feel Edward's presence with her. In "Eclipse", Edward brings Bella to the meadow and decides to give up on all of his demands. He will do whatever she wants and forgo his carefully set-in plans. It is here she officially puts on her engagement ring and they begin their future together.
